1. Do I need prior experience with weightlifting or gymnastics to join?
2. How heavy are the weights? Will I be forced to lift heavy?
You are always in control of your resistance. We use a variety of dumbbell weights and progression drills, and our coaches will guide you to a weight or modification that challenges you safely while maintaining perfect form. No one will ever push you beyond what feels right for your body!
3. I have some minor injuries, can I still participate?
Yes, but please let the coach know before the class begins. Because these sessions involve resistance and impact, knowing your limitations allows the coach to easily adjust specific exercises — like modifying a shoulder press or a jump — so you can keep moving pain-free.
4. I’m a beginner, is this still for me?
Absolutely. We welcome individuals of all fitness levels, and you never need to “get in shape” before joining us. Our strength classes are designed to be entirely scalable. In Build or Build & Box, you can start with light dumbbells, or no weights at all, while you master the technique. In our high-energy conditioning classes like Maxout, the time-based formats allow you to move entirely at your own pace. Our experienced coaches are always on the floor to make sure you feel challenged, safe, and confident.
5. What should I expect when walking into a Strength session?
Expect a powerful, high-intensity workout engineered for athletic conditioning and true functional strength. Training under our heated panels allows you to maximize your sweat and effort, though cooler spots are always available. You can expect to leave each session feeling accomplished, energized, and connected to your raw physical power.
